Steven Bamidele Drops New Single “Cuckoo Goes The Clock” Ahead of Sophomore Album ‘THE CRASH!’.

Nigerian-born, London-based multi-hyphenate Steven Bamidele is back with “Cuckoo Goes The Clock” featuring UK hip-hop artist Cam Thomas—a sharp, groove-driven track that dissects mob mentality and the illusions of comfort we cling to. The song previews Steven’s upcoming second album, ‘THE CRASH!’, landing 5th September.

Built on a hypnotic drum loop that transformed its original brooding tone, the track pairs Steven’s introspective lyricism with Cam’s take on blind ambition—creating a mirror held up to both personal inertia and societal dysfunction.

This follows well-received singles “The Fool” (featuring Sly5thAve) and “Exoskeleton”, with spins on BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM, KCRW, Worldwide FM, and beyond. And if that’s not enough, Steven will celebrate the album’s release with his biggest headline show yet at the iconic 100 Club, London on 17th September.
