Luvrite - Naked Minds (Official Video)

London based artist, with Dutch-Taiwanese roots, Luvrite releases his debut single “Naked Minds” a laid-back, dreamy, R&B track set for release on the 30th of May.

Intricately produced instrumentation and layers of rich harmonies lay the perfect foundation for Luvrite’s honest and introspective lyricism. “I’m in love with your naked mind girl” Luvrite sings, demonstrating his impressive vocal range and exploring the universal need for vulnerability.

Delving into the story behind the track Luvrite tells us: “I wrote ‘Naked Minds’ nearly four years ago, not long after moving to London. At the time I was searching for deeper connection in my relationships; it’s a song about daring to let your guard down. Three years later, after regaining my voice, I’ve grown into the person I was trying to be in that song: emotionally open and surrounded by incredible people. It was produced and recorded between my bedroom and my friend Luke Ashby’s, with final touches by New Machine (Jorja Smith, Maverick Sabre). Being the oldest, yet still most relevant song, it felt right to open the “Slowly Rushing” EP with this one.”

With a background in production and songwriting (ghost writing for significant a-list talent) Luvrite left Rotterdam for London at just 18 years old to pursue his dreams. In 2021, after dropping out of music university (BIMM), the rising talent lost his voice due to medical issues, fuelled to continue at now just 22 years old Luvrite is back, stronger than ever, ready to deliver his upcoming six-track EP Slowly Rushing. A body of work that relates to the struggles of the creative youth today, juggling cultural identities, and the pressures of modern life, Slowly Rushing, blends neo-soul musicality with dark-pop infused synths cementing his unique style.
