Reuben Aziz - Wake Up Ft: Camo31 / Murakami (Double Single)

Reuben Aziz Drops Two-Sided Single 'Murakami / Wake Up' Featuring Camo31.

Southampton-born, now London-based, singer-rapper Reuben Aziz is back with a new double release — 'Murakami' and 'Wake Up', the latter featuring rising US artist Camo31 (of Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys).

Leaning into his Alternative R&B sound, 'Wake Up' is about the kind of love that makes everything else blur — and the reminder not to lose yourself in the feeling. Reuben and Camo31 clicked instantly, turning around the track in a single day.

Flip the record, and 'Murakami' brings things closer to the chest — a tribute to a late friend and a powerful moment of vulnerability. “I really hope that my music can help people feel hope whatever tough situation they're going through,” says Reuben.

At 21, Reuben’s already carved out a lane between Ed Sheeran’s acoustic intimacy and Skepta’s gritty realism — a rare blend of Pop, R&B, and Rap that’s drawn co-signs from Stormzy, Jim Legxacy, and even Corteiz founder Clint.

Whether he’s crafting music from his bedroom or studios with the likes of Backroad Gee, Unknown T, or Kairo Keys, Reuben’s output is consistently genre-bending and emotionally sharp. His debut project 'how did we end up here' (2024) earned praise from COLORS and Clash, and his recent single 'me + me' (featuring Backroad Gee) made noise at Southbank’s Future Tense.

With 'Murakami / Wake Up', Reuben continues to prove he’s not just next up — he’s already here.
