If clarity had a tempo, it might sound like this. “Side Effect” is Raghd at her sharpest – a tightly coiled, bass-driven track that hits with full-body bounce. Her flow moves with ease and control, cutting across soul-tinged layers and Miami bass percussion like someone fully in the pocket. The result is hypnotic, self-assured and impossible to ignore. This is a song about cause and effect – about being fully yourself and dealing with everything that comes with it.

“Side Effect” kicks off a run of new music through 2025, including an EP later this fall and her debut album next year. A broader global campaign with Carhartt WIP will roll out this autumn, alongside a Europe tour with stops in Copenhagen, Berlin, London, Prague and Amsterdam.

Following two acclaimed EPs (Are We There Yet, A Good Friend – the latter praised by Anthony Fantano as Best EP), Raghd has become one of the most  talked-about names in the Nordics' new wave of genre-bending acts. She’s  played stages across Scandinavia and Europe, from Eurosonic to a sold-out  London headline show, and recently released a SadBoi remix of her breakout  track “Easy Go!” – also listed among Dagens Nyheter’s 50 best songs of 2024.
