London-based artist and producer Soasha has landed with a debut that refuses to play by the rules. Her first single, ‘I’m Butter’, is a genre-bending dive into alt-pop and experimental electronic, fusing neo-soul textures, modular synths, and a vocal delivery that’s equal parts deadpan and deliberate.

The track’s rich, warped production mirrors its subject matter—addiction, identity, and control—inviting listeners into a sonic world that’s both immersive and unsettling. “This song came from a place of frustration—but instead of tightening up, I let it melt,” Soasha explains. “Sometimes softness is power.”
