NAYAH Balances Club Euphoria and Adult Realities on New Single ‘all my friends are growing up’.

Copenhagen-based artist NAYAH returns with all my friends are growing up — a shimmering blend of UK Garage and alternative R&B that lands right at the heart of modern millennial limbo. Out June 6, the track captures the bittersweet moment when the dancefloor starts to feel a little less crowded, and the weight of adult life begins to settle in.

Inspired by the likes of PinkPantheress and Kelela, NAYAH delivers a candid, club-ready confession about watching friends move on — mortgages, marriages, milestones — while still clinging to the wild freedom of nightlife. “I’m not 21 and forever young anymore,” she admits. “It’s hard letting go of that ease and spontaneity.”

The track, produced by Sebastian Owens & Marcus Elkjer (Dua Lipa, Liam Payne), pulses with nostalgic energy, wrapped in a subtle melancholy. It’s the first taste of her upcoming debut album, due this fall — and if this is the opener, expect a journey both vulnerable and vibey.

NAYAH has been steadily carving her space in the Nordic scene since her early breakout ‘Bad Bitches’ and has recently been turning heads internationally with her 2024 single ‘Misery’. Now, with this latest release, she’s not just growing up — she’s stepping into her moment.
