UMI Teams Up with 6LACK for Soul-Stirring New Single "HARD TRUTHS".

After a standout year, genre-blending R&B artist UMI returns with a powerful new single, "HARD TRUTHS", featuring 6LACK, released via Epic Records and Ministry of Recordings (UK). The track pairs UMI’s ethereal vocals with 6LACK’s signature grit in a reflective duet exploring self-awareness, emotional vulnerability, and the illusions of materialism.

Accompanied by a Sahra Zadat-directed video, the song dives deep into the tension between appearance and inner reality—an ongoing theme in UMI’s evolving sound. “The lyrics explore the contrast between external appearances and internal realities,” UMI shares. “It’s about confronting the truths we often avoid.”
