Richmond, Virginia rapper Fly Anakin has announced his new album, (The) Forever Dream, due for release on 25th April via Lex Records.  The experimental and ambitious record is executive produced by Quelle Chris and features collaborations with Pink Siifu, BbyMutha, The Alchemist, $ilkmoney, Demae, plus Anakin’s Mutant Academy colleagues Big Kahuna OG and Sycho Sid.

Alongside the album announcement, Anakin has shared lead single, My N*gga; a glacially smooth, synth-heavy track that showcases Anakin’s razor-sharp delivery and is bolstered by contributions from Quelle Chris, $ilkmoney and Big Kahuna OG.  The accompanying video was directed by DEV and conceived by ILLIMITEWORLD.

Described by Madlib as “one of the illest MCs” and Pitchfork as "the single best pure rapper in the scene”, Fly Anakin has firmly established himself as a leader in rap’s underground renaissance.  After consistent releases with his Mutant Academy crew, Anakin made major strides with his and Pink Siifu’s joint project FlySiifu’s, followed by their $mokebreak EP.  In 2022, the rapper released his acclaimed solo debut, Frank, which distilled his classic yet pioneering style, while Anakin's 2023 twin mixtape series Skinemaxxx showcased his versatility and ability to adapt to more boisterous production.
