London’s soulful dance music duo, 2fox (aka Max Sinàl, and Ivor Novello Award winning Renell Shaw), unleash their new 3 tracker ‘Elevation’ EP on Soul Clap Records. Kicking things off with the irresistible party vibes of ‘Elevation’, 2fox join forces with Brit-Soul talent Laville, who’s catchy silky-smooth vocal glides over a warm, percussive Soulful House soundtrack. ‘Elevation’ comes with a video filmed at Notting Hill Carnival, directed by Lance Penez, which beautifully captures the uplifting vibe of the song and London’s vibrant soulful music culture.
‘Just Be’, is a slice of deep dance floor soul featuring the candied vocals of Nandi (The Voice), a sublime spoken word from performance poet, Sophia Thakur, and a powerful affirmation from Afronaut Zu (Rudimental). Rounding off this eclectic soulful package is ‘Mare Street State Of Mind’, a snappy, jazz-fuelled broken beat groover that’s powered by Sophia Thakur’s captivating story-telling and a heartfelt duet with Laville on the chorus.

Zimbabwean born, UK based songbird, Nandi, has won many fans with her releases and live performances at The Royal Albert Hall and The Roundhouse, among others. The UK’s Sophia Thakur is an award winning author and boundary breaking performance poet. She has collaborated with Calvin Klein, The Olympics and international chart topping musicians. Afronaut Zu is a talented artist who has also worked extensively with Rudimental, as well as appearing on releases from Dizzee Rascal, Yousef, Netsky, Balimaya Project, Steamdown and more.
