RABSPITZ - LOOSE CANON (ALBUM)

The new project from Aberdeen based MC RabSpitz, exclusively produced by acclaimed beatmaker Vagrant Real Estate.

“Loose Canon'' seeks to paint a picture of the artist through recollections of hazy smoke filled nights and dreary Granite days, all punctuated with Guinness tins and spray cans. Playing on the dual titles of volatility and also authority and standard-setting, the nine tracks set out the MC’s experiences and mindset as only he can tell it - at times full of doubt, hurt, and aggression, self-aggrandizing and hilarious all in the same verse.

The album boasts an all star lineup of guest MCs including Leaf Dog (High Focus), Vitamin G (CMPND), Bang On! & CLBRKS (Blah), battle rap champion Respek BA as well as Scottish heavyweights Gasp and Jackill. Production is handled entirely by Vagrant Real Estate who weaves a dark tapestry for the confessional lyrics, swinging from the haunted funhouse stabs of “Fine By Me” to the smoke-coated back rooms of a jazz club in the gut-wrenching title track, where RabSpitz finally comes face to face with the voices inside directing his every move.

“Loose Canon” is also releasing as a special edition grey marble vinyl, limited to 100 copies and available via Bandcamp.
