DirtNRain - Pretty When U Cry Acoustic Ft. Julë

DirtNRain has been renowned from early, since his teenage days he made his name through rapping on channels such as King Of Da Hillz TV (KODH), Let Loose, P110 and Charlie Sloth’s Fire In The Streets series whilst DirtNRain has been based in Huddersfield. After doing a stint in prison, DirtNRain continued dropping more music and has been putting his hometown on the map since starting his own independent channels in 2024.

On December 19th, DirtNRain released a visual for the acoustic version of his single called Pretty When U Cry, shot by Carbon Productions and directed by DirtNRain & Luca. The original beat produced by YungCeles is flipped beautifully by pianist Julë and guitarist Spencer Grant, who became involved after DirtNRain spoke to his music producer and engineer Farangdan about the possibility of recording an acoustic version, who then 'rapidly dialled Julë and Spencer who came through without any question.’

This single follows a string of successful releases over 2024, including The Revival which premiered on Pressplay Media in February and In the Rain which was recorded in memory of his Father who passed away. ‘From then until now I took a break, drew myself a blueprint and I’m on GO mode for 2025.’

‘I switched it up to show artistry and to seperate myself from the rest, a lot of artists are afraid to be vulnerable with their music and I see that as a big set back. I’ve got plenty music along the same vibe as Pretty When U Cry for next year, and I’ve also got rap and some upbeat tempo tracks in the bag ready to go!’
